Hershey Kiss Card - FREE Template

This is a great card for chocolate lovers! I just couldn't resist!
What's better then a huge Hershey's kiss?!

This is how I made it:

Fold in half an 11" x 4 1/4" piece of whisper white paper. Print out the template and put it over the folded paper. You can either have the fold at the top or bottom, your choice. I did mine at the top. Cut your your shape and then another single layer of the kiss template that is just larger then your card.


Put tape on the edges of this single kiss shape and fold your aluminum foil over the edges. You want to crinkle up the front a little so it looks like a real Hershey's kiss.


Now with a Brocade blue marker I wrote Hershey on white ribbon and taped it on the back.


Now just tape your foil kiss to the top of the kiss card. This is the back of it showing how it sticks out just a little bit.

I was cooking eggs and thought how funny it would be to do egg cards in my big egg box that went with the chicks. These cards are 3"x3" so they will fit in the little envelopes too!

Yet another Purse...

Ok, I'm sorry if you are sick of seeing these purses but I am hooked! I love them and they are so easy to do! This one I put a magnetic clasp on to keep it closed. It also has the inside pocket and side pockets that I show in my tutorial!

Easter Bunny Fancy Favor Basket!

When I case something from someone else I usually change it around a little but but this one was too perfect to change! I love it! This is by far my favorite punch art bunny that I have seen. I got this from Raidis Smet's site, Seep and Keep.

I'm sure by now everyone has seen the rag purses using the scallop square die and the big Shot. I decided to change it up a bit and make one using the TOP NOTE die and the Big Shot! Using this instead gives it a totally different shape! You can easily add more Top Note shapes and make it as big or small as you want to. The overall size for this small purse I have shown is 8" x 4" x 6".
I have added pockets to the outside and inside of my purse and added a reinforced bottom. The main construction of the purse is the same as the scallop square purse(and you can add these pockets on your scallop square die-cut purses and it will work the same way!) but the steps are a little different to add all of the pockets and the base.
Here are some photos of the pockets!

My purse is made using just one pattern of fabric for the exterior and another for the lining but you can pick as many different patterns and mix and match as you want!

Another Card with my Fun Fold!

I had to try another card with this fold! This is using the Voila to Go stamp set.

I used a 6" x 6" DSP to make this one. To get the scallop edge punch to come out evenly to go around this start with a 5 1/4" square white paper.

A Fun Fold

I was playing around with this fun fold using a square piece of Welcome Neighbor DSP. I did this for a challenge on the Technostamper site. CLICK HERE to see the challenge details.

This is how I did the paper folds:

Fold a square piece of paper so all the points meet in the middle. About half way across, fold the points back out.


It will look like this when your done! It makes a really nice frame.

FREE TEMPLATE Wedding Card!

I made this card for the Late Night Stampers "Bring on the Bling" Challenge! It's hard to see how shiny this is but the dazzling diamonds really sparkle!
As long as I was doing it I figured I would make the template to share with you guys! This is huge for me because that means I had to actually think about what I was doing first instead of just cutting as I go!

Here are the steps:
I printed out the template and cut the dress out of Bride Specialty Designer Series Paper. I centered the dress shape on the texture in the paper so it would be symmetrical. I cut out the extra pieces of the dress and put them on with a dimensional only at the bottom. I then used a two way glue pen to trace some of the swirls in the paper and add some dazzling diamonds.


I used a piece of 1/4" white grosgrain ribbon with a rhinestone brad in the center for the waist.


For the tux, I cut the outside and tie out of black paper. For the tux shirt I used the other pattern of Bride Specialty Designer Series Paper with the stripes. I used the mini rhinestone brads for buttons.


The card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" so the dress and tux shirt can stick up and still fit in the envelope. I had it open in the middle instead of on the side and I put the dress over the opening to hide it. Both the dress and tux I put on with dimensionals.


For the inside I used the Priceless stamp set for the swirls. Hope you like it!!

Big Shot - Scallop Square Die Purse!!!

I just made this purse using the Scallop Square die and the Big Shot!! I am totally hooked now, so you might see a few more of these!
The overall purse is about 12" x 8" x 4", it really is the perfect size.

I recently found a FREE template for this type of card and just had to try it! I used rich razzleberry paper and the black and white DSP from the last mini catalogue. And of course the beautiful Wings sizzlit die!

I used the Baroque Motifs set, flower fusion felt flowers and a gel pen to get this look!

More Brick Wall Technique...

I couldn't give up without being totally happy with this technique so I had to try again! I used the Asian Artistry set this time and Fundamental Phrases. I also used the Welcome Neighbor DSP for the flower card background.

Brick Wall Technique

I used the brick wall technique with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set to make this card.

This took a really long time to do, I would suggest making larger bricks and using an easier pattern!
I stamped the fifth avenue floral roses in Rose red on the neighborhood patterned paper from sale-a-bration. I then stamped them again and embossed with black. I sponged over them and then cut them into bricks. My bricks are 3/8" x 3/4". Way too small to not go crazy! Here is a picture before I cut them up.

Origami Flower Bouquet!

I saw on the Paper Enchantment Blog an origami flower bouquet and I just had to try it! I searched on the web and found directions to make all the flowers except one so I switched it out for another flower. This is my finished bouquet!
I started all of the flowers with 6" square pieces of Designer Series Paper (mostly from the hostess 6" paper assortment!) I got the greenery from the dollar store.
Do not start this unless you are willing to spend some time on it! These folds are tough and take a bit of time!

1978 CJ5 Jeep Card

I inherited a Jeep from my uncle that I was taught to drive in from my Grandparents when I was 13. It's been very special to me for my entire life so I was pretty excited to get it. My husband and I are slowly restoring it and trying to make it a little safer. I made this card for my Uncle to say thank you. I drew a line template for it that I figured I would share just in case anyone has a use for it! All the papers are cut out individually to make the Jeep, now I just need to figure out the rest of the card! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Black Sheep

I thought this was too funny of an idea not to do! Do you have a black sheep in your family? I don't think we do in ours but I know of some that do! He looks so cute made out of basic gray paper.

Pop-out Lattice Butterfly

I saw this idea of using the lattice as a pop-up frame for the inside of a card and I loved it! It seems very elegant.
For the front I cut the lattice die cut out of a white piece of paper. I popped this up over black polka dot paper and popped up the inside pieces back where they got cut out. I also used pieces from a black lattice for the sides.
To make the pop-up inside just fold the lattice in four equal parts and glue it down! I used the Beautiful Wings embosslits die on black paper and drew on it with a white gel pen.
