Dryer Sheet Fall Leaves

Here is my card where I used a dryer sheet to make the leaves! I have seen this technique used for snow so I need to try that too, but Fall first!

Here is how you do this:
I started with a more mustard piece of card stock and sponged Cherry Cobbler ink randomly across it. I did the same thing with Always Artichoke ink for the green leaves.

I then covered the paper with glue stick and stuck down a used dryer sheet. I put this through my Big Shot using the Leaves #2 die and cut out four maple leaves.

I then sponged a little more ink over the tops of them so they would be a little bit brighter and still have the texture of the dryer sheet.

While the glue was still a little wet I sprinkled dazzling diamonds over the top. the dazzling diamonds stick into the dryer sheet pretty good and make it look really nice.

I can't wait to try some more things using this technique in different ways!

Woven Ribbon Baby Bundle Card

Here is my baby card with woven ribbon! I used the Baby Bundle Stamp set with the Decorative Label Punch for the sentiment. To make the border that I wove the ribbon through I cut a piece of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white card stock and used the Scallop Edge punch on two sides having them line up for the corner (this takes a little trial and error with the punch). I then used my Crop-a-dile to punch every other scallop so I could weave the ribbon through and tie a bow on the corner.
Here is the piece before I put the ribbon in.

Bad Day Owl Card

Ok, so here is a little more of my strange sense of humor. I think this card is hysterical!
I used the Owl Punch and added some fierce eye brows to make my owl look angry and had his word bubble swearing, the nice way of course. I would love to get this card if I was having a bad day or week, depending on how things are going! His wings are made using the Scallop Circle Punch.
The background is the Sweet and Sour Specialty DSP and I used the Big Shot with the 1" tall letters for the quote. The bottom says, "I'm here for you..." from the Occasional Quotes Hostess stamp set.

Fall Fun Scrapbook Page

Here is my Fall Fun Scrapbook page with my kids and my nephew Dylan playing in the leaves at my parents house. Can you tell I'm a little behind on my scrapbooking? This page is from 2008! I guess at least I'm in the right Season!
The tree is cut freehand out of the wood grain looking piece of the Woodland Walk DSP. The leaves are using the Big Shot with the leaves #2 die. The stem part of the leaf is the branch from the Bird Punch with just half of each leaf cut off to look more like the veins in the leaves. I used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Cajun Craze and More Mustard card stock for the leaves and Crumb Cake card stock for the pages. These are 8 1/2" square pages.

I also used the large die cut letters (Serif Essentials) from SU for the 'F' in the Fall Fun words and I love them! Definitely worth the purchase price, these letters work great for everything! I cut one out in Chocolate Chip and the other out of Cherry Cobbler and just layered them to look like a shadow. The circles are punched using Chocolate chip card stock with the 1" circle punch and just taped to the back of the More Mustard card stock that is behind the photos.
